Sylas Ripley is an emerging 16-year-old American racecar driver from Maine who competes in Super Late Model and Modified stock car racing. A third-generation driver, he has built a reputation as a rising "young gun" in the Northeastern short-track racing circuit. He is currently managed by DriveRefine Performance Management and competes heavily in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS).

Career Milestones & Timeline

• Karting Beginnings (Age 10): Started racing at Richmond Karting Speedway. In 2022, he completed an undefeated season with 30 victories in 30 events, securing four track and series titles. [1]

• Wiscasset Speedway Debut (Age 12): Transitioned to full-sized cars in the Allison Legacy Series, securing his first career win at Wiscasset Speedway at just 12 years old. He took home Rookie of the Year honors.

• Super Late Model Rookie Success (Age 14): Upgraded to Late Model racing in 2023 and captured his first historic Super Late Model victory at Oxford Plains Speedway in July 2024. He also won a Modified race in his very first start at Wiscasset that same year. 

• National Level Development (Age 15): Teamed up with Team Hornaday Development, now DriveRefine Performance Management. He placed 4th at the prestigious Oxford 250 and made his debut in the Snowflake 100 at 5 Flags Speedway driving for Rackley W.A.R. Racing. 

• Continued Triumphs (Age 16): Earned a major $2,000 marquee feature victory in the 100-lap Super Late Model event at Lee USA Speedway by powering to the front on the outside groove.​
